Israel Hub&Lab

{{item.title}}

Our Israeli Enel Innovation Hub helps connect promising startups, tech companies and potential partners with Enel and its business lines. EIH Israel is deeply involved in the local ecosystem, identifies potential initiatives and business opportunities within the territory and lays a solid foundation for further activities of all other Innovation Hubs.

In 2016, Enel launched its first innovation hub in Tel-Aviv, one of the most successful innovation communities in Israel and the world. This EIH served as cornerstone for what has become a global network of 9 innovation hubs and 22 labs spread across 6 countries around the globe.

The Hub

The Enel Innovation Hub is located in Tel Aviv, at the center of the Israeli innovation ecosystem, focusing on identifying the most promising growth startups and serving as contact point between Enel and one of the most innovative countries in the world.

Finsec Lab and Haifa Infralab

An agreement with the Israeli Innovation Authority enables us to offer financial backing to the Israeli startups that we collaborate with. Alongside the Innovation hub located at the heart of the city, our Israeli EIH also counts on the support of two labs in partnership with Mastercard and Shikun & Binui, which specialize in different technologies and allow Enel to develop new solutions to distribute worldwide:

  • Beersheva FinSec Lab: An Innovation Lab working with early-stage startups focused on Fintech and Cyber Security for the financial sector.

  • Haifa Infralab: An Innovation Lab working with early-stage startups focused on Construction-Tech, Smart Grid and Digital Twin (active for 3 years until 2021).

Enel AI & Robotics Lab

The AI & Robotics Laboratory, which is located in the heart of Tel Aviv’s downtown area, is managed by Enel Green Power and Enel Grids. Its aim is to increase our presence in a fast-growing and welcoming ecosystem.
The Laboratory will host startups, either in the early or more mature phases of development, with a view to bringing new disruptive technologies into Enel’s business lines and improving the positioning of the startups in the electrical and energy fields globally, thereby speeding up their development.
The Lab will foster synergies between innovation in robotics and AI in order to boost the scale-up inside the business lines, leveraging on institutions, universities and associations, as well as funding opportunities in Israel.
