We have always distinguished ourselves for one thing at Enel: constant attention to innovation that can improve our lifestyles. Innovating for us means adopting fresh, quick tools that can adapt to a constantly changing environment.
We are looking for partners with which we can identify and reinterpret innovative technologies in the realm of Green Economy and sustainability. We strongly believe in the relationship with our partners and in virtuous results that win-win liaisons can generate.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for industrial partnerships with Small Medium Enterprises, which want to co-innovate with us to interpret the shift in the energy business. We want to promote innovation in the energy sector, developing new businesses that can make energy use smarter, more efficient and reliable.
Some of the macro-areas we wish to invest in are energy efficiency, IoT, electric mobility, new products and services for customers, as well as storage and energy management platform. We are also looking for innovative technologies that can enhance our processes, operations and maintenance activities, such as drones, robotics, augmented reality and 3D printing solutions. Not only that.
We are searching for ideas that have tangible possibilities for development, to continue with partners that will work closely with Enel to support change and the value of innovation.
HOW WE SUPPORT PROJECTS FOR THE FUTURE
We are aware that developing long-lasting, solid business projects requires a structured management effort. This is why Enel provides industrial support, as well as an ecosystem of tools made available in particular for SMEs that innovate with us, in order to support them in all the phases of development, directly or by means of our partners in that ecosystem.
Therefore, SMEs that collaborate with Enel on innovation projects, in addition to receiving support from the Enel Group for the development and field test of their solutions, also benefit from support from innovation ecosystem given by the network of Enel’s partners.
In particular, Enel has signed a partnership with the leading Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo that supports innovation in energy sector by providing financial services through its network of innovation specialists. Furthermore, Enel has signed a framework agreement with PNO to support SMEs in the definition of projects to be funded by European Commission through Horizon 2020 Calls. Enel provides know-how and assets for the projects and bears part of the consulting costs to draw up the project to be submitted for funding.
Also thanks to our presence on all continents, we are also able to help business development in other areas too, offering expertise and structures in loco, with collaboration that brings benefit to everyone.
