{{item.title}}

Accelerate in Israel”. The Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv, in collaboration with the Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has launched a competition to finance a mobility programme for Italian startups in Israel. Its purpose is to promote the international scale-up of startups interested in developing their business plans through a period of acceleration in the lively Israeli ecosystem. Our Group has already opened an Innovation Hub in Tel Aviv, an Innovation Lab in Haifa and, through Enel X, won the competition to create a new fintech Innovation Lab in Be’er Sheva, the global centre of cybersecurity.

The competition, the closing date for which is 31 July 2020, offers a one-off grant of 12 thousand euros for each selected startup and is intended to cover the costs for the services offered by the accelerator.

The business plans presented by the candidate startups should concern one of the following areas: Smart mobility, Smart cities and architecture tech; Manufacture tech, Industry 4.0, Robotics and Automation; Agri and Food tech; Clean Water and Blue tech; Health tech; Travel & Turism tech; Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

Due to the travel restrictions introduced in response to the Covid-19 emergency, the programme has been scheduled to begin in January 2021. The initiative will be organised in partnership with ICE, the Italian agency for the promotion of foreign trade, in collaboration with the Ministry for Technological Innovation and Digitalisation, the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Israel-Italy and Israeli accelerators.

Applications can be submitted via certified email to amb.telaviv.archivio@cert.esteri.it until 5 p.m. on 31 July 2020 using the application form and information sheet that can be downloaded here.
