Webinar #2 New technologies, decarbonization and materials: the role of the circular economy
Integrating the circular economy to support the world's decarbonization
Achieving an economy with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions is a goal the EU has set for 2050. As a community and as a business, we have the responsibility to proactively contribute to this transition. To achieve this, it’s important to shift to low- and zero-carbon technologies, reducing energy use by improving efficiency and moving from fossil fuels to renewables. By integrating the main principles of a circular economy into this strategy, we can further accelerate this transition.
Our second webinar “New Technologies, Decarbonization and Materials: The Role of the Circular Economy” will explore the importance of having this combined approach of decarbonization and the circular economy, and how these processes can lead us to a more carbon-neutral world.
- The session will feature a discussion by the World Resource Institute regarding the opportunities and challenges that industries are facing with the use of these technologies and how we can optimize our businesses without compromising the environment.
- The program will host a testimonial by Philips, in which we will learn about how Philips's circular business models support decarbonization goals and what the company’s priority impacts are.
- The webinar episode will conclude with a conversation by Enel Global Infrastructure & Networks on how network technology redesign can help address this global challenge and how we can achieve the transition through these innovative technologies.
Join the webinar and learn how you can be part of leading the future of decarbonization.
