Angelo is Head of Enel Open Innovation, Hubs and Startups.

He manages the Enel innovation hubs around the world as well as other tools of open innovation, including collaboration with startups and other companies, business intelligence for new technologies and new business models, and crowdsourcing.

He launched the first proprietary crowdsourcing website in the energy industry, through which Enel has published more than 100 challenges and is now able to reach more than 500,000 innovators worldwide.

He joined the Enel Strategic Planning department in 2009, participating in the PMO of a strategic M&A and re-IPO project, before moving to the newly launched Innovability^® area in 2015 and being active throughout its entire evolution. 

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, a masters in Corporate Innovation from ESADE business school, and a masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development from WBCSD in collaboration with Yale School of Management and INSEAD business school.
